Network equipment provider Cisco announced on Wednesday it will unveil its Data Center 3.0 strategy on June 30th at 12:30 PST, according to a report by Data Center Knowledge.
The strategy is the next step in the company's continual drive to help its customers develop more efficient data centers.
Cisco first announced in March 2009 it would enter the server market, thrusting it into a competitive market with the likes of Hewlett-Packard and IBM.
At the time, Cisco revealed its Unified Computing System strategy, which simplified traditional architectures to greatly decrease the number of hardware devices companies had to buy, install and operate.
The Data Center 3.0 strategy online webcast will provide first-hand information from the engineers, executives and thought leaders who developed the strategy.
This latest architecture is part of Cisco's ongoing strategy to unite and simplify a data center's infrastructure.
