Host Excellence gives people an impression of providing very cheap web hosting plan, but the connection speed and support are not so good due to all kinds of reasons. But right now, look like they want to change their competition strategy from cheap web hosting provider to budget web hosting provider. And it also means more competitors HostExcellence will face.

Currently, you won't see the plan with price as low as $2.95/month in Host Excellence. In stead. you will find only 2 plans there, one is $6.97/month, and the other one is $12.97/month. For plan which cost you $6.97/month, you will get 300G disk space, 3000G data center, and can host 6 domains with dedicated IP provided. This is a very attractive package considering the free dedicated IP features which you might have to spend $30/year for each in the other web hosting service provider.

Even Host Excellence has updated their plans, the value of it is still excellent. For the plan which cost you $6.97/month, you can host 6 domain with dedicated IP for each (WOW!!!), besides this, you will get 300G disk space, 3000G bandwidth, 3000 emailbox, eCommerce support, 100 MySQL database, forum, blog, image gallery, and basic web site promotion tools.

Compared with other same price level plans, this plan is a pretty competitive one considering 6 dedicated IP are provided, and huge disk space and huge bandwidth in it.

HostExcellence also promises 100% customer satisfaction.

Host Excellence is deemed one of the most reliable web-hosts, as they boast network features that include dual Cisco 12008 GRP routers connected to dual OC-192 fiber running from two opposite directions, different fiber providers including BellSouth, Kentucky Data Link and Energy Net channeled through multiple Central Office (COs) and Point-of-Presence (POPs).

Host Excellence currently has two redundant (SONET) fiber-optic connections. They have built their own fiber-optic loop, which means that they do not depend on any telephone companies for the last mile, or the local loop. Host Excellence uses HSphere as their hosting control panel, which is the best you can find in the industry. This Real-Time control panel is easy to use, and provides clear and concise management of your website. Although this software is one of the best available in the market, but it is not one of the most popular programs that customers may be used to (such as Plesk, Ensim, or CPanel).

HostExcellence really provides excellent support right now, especially their LIVE CHAT feature. What's nice about their support is that you have 24 / 7 support via an online ticketing system as well as real 24 / 7 live chat tech support and sales service. While we only encountered a few small problems, their support staff was quick to provide us with answers and make any necessary adjustments. We commend them for their prompt and reliable support!
